This is my niece, Elsie. Just chillin' under a tree.
It's a good representation of how I feel right now.

She just looks so innocent, and relaxed.
The whole world is waiting for her,
but she's gonna bide a little more time
under this tree.

I have almost completely emptied the shelves in my room. I've got four places I'm distributing stuff. The rare item makes it into the boxes I'm shipping right to Princeton. A little less rare are the items getting packed and stored. Then, I've got a big ole bag and a medium sized box full of items I'm donating to my church's garage sale next weekend. Finally, there's a large trash bag that I love putting things into.

Books of course don't get thrown away, but separated and boxed to trade in at Title Wave. I had gone through my books once already. But upon further pondering, decided that I didn't need most of them.

My videos and dvd's are mostly gonna just stay with my family. But it feels different than before. I don't know if I'll ever come back and go, "Alright, I'm takin' my movies now, give 'em up." More than likely, I'm just gonna let 'em stay with this trailer, and watch them when I return for a visit.

I'm not quite as carefree and possession-less, but I'm packing pretty darn light for me. Someday, I'd love to just be able to pack all my stuff in one box, and one suitcase and just go. Right now, I still like my favorite old little lamp with the handpainted shade, and my trusty alarm clock.

Well, I've got a strenuous half day at work tomorrow. Wahoo!
