I went for a walk on Sunday. Came back from my walk and discovered my car had been broken into and my wallet was missing. Canceled my credit card. Bank was closed, so there was nothing I could do with my ATM card and checks. Filed report with police.

Next morning, I call the bank, discover my checking account has already been drained.

I'll find out in 2 weeks whether the bank thinks I'm at fault or not and whether or not they'll refund the money that was stolen. Meantime, I've filed another police report, this one for fraud.

Actually, in the theater news. I've got a pretty good season schedule lined up next year. I'm directing "The Poet and the Rent" by David Mamet for ATY in January/Early Feb. "Woody Guthrie's American Song" a musical about the life of Woody guthrie for ACT in March/April and in the fall sometime I'll be directing a short play for the Short Attention Span Theater produced by Northstar Productions.

Speaking of productions, I'm trying to think of a good name for my own little personal company. I want to be cool like Peter Jackson. I was thinking Chimera Films, but there already is one in the UK. Then I was thinking maybe a fancy respelling of Chimera, and go for a more phonetical, Kymera Films. but the F doesn't go so well with the Ky. hrmmm.

I'll keep pondering. Anything has to be better than the standby I used in college... Fish Films.
